Please never break again. <3
Finally got that bracket off and replaced the idler pulley assembly.
Now on my bucket list is finding the engineer who decided that a transverse v6 was an acceptable layout and piss on their grave.

Every layout has it’s issues. Except for Longitudal V6, they have room for days.

My DSC/ABS lights just came back on, less than a year after a fix that involved replacing two wheel speed sensors and a hub.

Just be glad you don’t have an F-body Camaro. The rear half of the engine is inaccessible.

I enjoy my transverse V6, but yes it is a pain. I had to loosen the radiator just to get at the spark plugs, and I’m pretty sure I just said “fuck it” to one of them in the back...

Nothing like popping the fan out in 1 minute and having a foot of wrench/knuckle room in front of the engine.

It depends on which F-body we’re talking about!

While not ideal, I’m not seeing too much in there that I’d rather have to go at with the engine out like, say, Subaru head gaskets or.... just about anything on the front of my MR2.

but, mid engine!

You can only get away with saying that because we don't have any 300zx owners on Oppo.

Rear half of the engine is inaccessible on the Murano as well. If a coil pack goes bad on the rear bank I’m pushing it off a cliff.

Fuck me? No Fuck you car. You’ll be fixed and you’ll like it.
Until you don't. Then I'll cry.

The Murano. I was stuck on the idler pulley bracket bolts because Nissan engineers wanted to make all Nissan techs develop a drinking problem.
A beefy socket and a large wrench finally got them turning. Well, two of them. The third required a Jerry rigged breaker bar on a 3/8s socket and a prayer.
